These photos show the process of my work. We can see the idea had changed from the beginning until the finish work. My original idea is to put a piece of wood which should be cut to 16 pieces on the floor.  So the horizontal  lying wood and outside vertical living tree has a strong contrast. I  picked up one of  wood and put it on other one ,because I have turned it around ,so people can clearly see the growth ring of the tree. But after practicing ,I found in this space the work looked so weak, then i tried to put it on the  exhibition stand . It was still not too strong. Then I put some on the wall ,because this space is very tall,  I want to use this superiority. actually it is so difficult to find a best way to do it. At last, i remember David who suggested me to find a triangle in my old work, he said i had got circle and square ,because they all basic shapes , triangle is a shape which i  can use to my work. I also think triangle is like a arrows which can point to the outside tree, that is a really good thing.  One side points to the outside tree, ing.another side points to the door, that means the tree has been cut and as wood to be used. When it points to the door, I just want to find a way to solve the exhibition stand problem .
